The quest for concentration

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring...

Except the kittens. How is it that two 3 month old cats can sound like a herd of elephants rampaging through the living room?

Perhaps it's the fact we have wood floors, and that my office is in the basement. Or perhaps it's because they're trying to get a running start at the Christmas tree again--the score's up to kittens: 3, tree: 0, by the way.

This is a new approach for them--generally they fling themselves onto the tree from on top of the piano. They've also found the curtain rod to be a particularly effective launch pad.
